Rebel Wilson reveals why she was ‘banned from Disneyland for 30 days’ | Page Six Celebrity News

Rebel Wilson may be a well-known celebrity, but when it comes to Disneyland, she's a fan girl just like the rest of us. But when she went to the Mouse House recently, her fandom got the best of her and got her kicked out.
Wilson, who is 43 years old, told The Daily Show host Hasan Minhaj in a new episode that she was actually banned from Disney for 30 days because she took a picture of something she shouldn't have. Wilson shared:
I took a photo in a secret bathroom inside Disneyland, which is illegal…and I got officially banned for 30 days.- Rebel Wilson
But they called me up and said, 'Rebel, what 30 days do you not want to come to Disneyland because you're away filming a movie or something?' And I said, 'Oh, June would be fine.'- Rebel Wilson
Minhaj said back, "That's how I know you're a celebrity."
Disneyland has Met Gala rules where they're like, 'No photos here,'Then you break it, and they're like, 'Look, we have to punish you but looking at your Google Calendar, what month works for you?'- Hasan Minhaj
Wilson has a long history with Disney. He proposed to Ramona Agruma right inside the park. She said last month in an interview on The Drew Barrymore Show that she even called Disney CEO Bob Iger to make that dream come true.
Wilson didn't say exactly where the photo in question was taken, but fans were quick to point out on social media that it was probably taken in one of the ultra-exclusive dining rooms that Club 33 members have access to. Disney says on its website:
Members enjoy special access and exceptional service at the Club 33 locations at Walt Disney World Resort. Each venue is uniquely themed to represent Walt and Lillian's adventures around the world.- Disneyland
At Disneyland, the club is in New Orleans Square, but it's a little hard to find because there isn't a sign showing the way. But if you belong, you know where it is.
Again, Disney is very secretive about the club, but depending on who you ask, the initiation fee is somewhere between $25,000 and $33,000, and the annual membership fee is around $15,000.
Non-members who are guests of Club 33 members can go to the Salon Nouveau lounge, which serves things like a California caviar appetizer for $28 and a signature hamburger with a glass of Champagne for $75. Members can also go to Le Grande Salon and order a five-course prix-fixe menu for about $100, which includes scallops, duck breast, and a saddle of lamb.

Rebel Wilson was banned from Disneyland temporarily but she still loves Disneyland. Wilson was lucky, though, because Disneyland did offer to fit her punishment into her schedule.
In another part of the interview, the creator of the dating app Fluid said she is not "obsessed with Disneyland," but she does "go there every weekend" and for "every important holiday and every important life event." Wilson and Ramona Agruma got engaged last month, and they celebrated at Disneyland.
