After South Park made fun of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle break silence and they are not going to sue. A spokesperson for the couple told Newsweek that claims that the saga "may have legal ramifications" are "baseless and boring."
In a new episode of the cartoon, the "Prince and Princess of Canada" went on a "worldwide privacy tour" to make fun of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. But a spokesperson for Harry, 38, and his wife has now slammed rumors that they plan to sue South Park over the satirical episode.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Break Silence After South Park Episode

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle NOT Suing Over South Park Episode | E! News

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have spoken out after rumors that they are going to sue the people who make South Park because of a recent episode that made fun of them. A person who works for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex denied that they were going to sue over the incident.
It’s all frankly nonsense. Totally baseless, boring reports.- Prince Harry And Meghan Markle spokeperson
The "World-Wide Privacy Tour" was the name of the South Park episode that aired last week. It was about a prince and his wife who decided to move to the made-up town of South Park, Colorado. As they went on a "we want privacy" tour, the "prince of Canada" was seen promoting his book, Waaaagh.
Stan Marsh, one of the main characters on the show, called the cartoons that looked like Harry and Meghan "the dumb prince and his stupid wife," and a character named Kyle complained about the private jet that was parked outside their house.
In the episode, the cartoon couple also traveled to different places around the world while holding "we want our privacy" signs. This was similar to what critics said after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released their six-part Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan.
Even though their names aren't said in the episode, the characters were a lot like the duke and duchess in many ways. The prince had ginger hair like Prince Harry, and his wife wore a dress that looked a lot like one Markle wore at the 2018 Trooping the Colour.
After the South Park episode, people who work for the royal family said that it could have legal consequences for the show's writers, Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Neil, a royal commentator, told Fox Newsthat the Sussex's legal team is "looking at the episode," but the people who make South Park haven't gotten an official filing yet.
A source told The Spectator that the "brutal" takedown left the Duchess of Sussex "upset and overwhelmed." This is how the royal couple felt about it. The Sun says that the government has spent a total of £296,882 on a legal battle over Prince Harry's police protection in the UK. This battle has already cost the government a lot of money.
In July 2022, Prince Harry fought against a decision made by the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (RAVEC) in February 2020. That decision said that the Duke of Sussex and his family would no longer get the "same degree" of personal security when they visited the UK.

Conclusion

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle break silence and have finally answered rumors that they are planning to sue South Park. In an episode from the most recent season, the long-running animated TV show was very mean to the Royal couple.
The show, called "Worldwide Privacy Tour," talked about how Harry and Meghan have asked the media to give them more privacy while also promoting the Duke of Sussex's book "Spare."
But a person who works for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said that this is not true. They told Newsweek that rumors that Harry and Meghan were thinking about going to court were "baseless and boring."
