Martha Stewart is SI Swimsuit's 2023 cover girl. On Monday, legendary entrepreneur Martha Stewart, 81, became the magazine's oldest cover model in its history, surpassing the previous record holder by nine years.
After finding success as a chef in the 1970s, Stewart turned to publishing cookbooks in the 1980s, which catapulted her to celebrity. Since publishing her first cookbooks, Stewart has gone on to write a total of 99 books, all of which have been huge successes. Martha Stewart Living, her magazine, first appeared in 1990.
Stewart became well-known not only in film but also on television. Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia is an umbrella company for Stewart's various media endeavors, including her magazine, TV series, and books. She has a monthly audience of almost 100 million people who can be reached by her many media outlets.
Martha Gardens, Martha Cooks, and Martha Holidays are the three shows that Stewart now broadcasts on Roku. She also hosts The Martha Stewart Podcast, where she does conversations with friends who are accomplished businesspeople.
In August 2022, Stewart debuted her first eatery, The Bedford by Martha Stewart, which is housed at the Paris Las Vegas hotel.
Stewart is still regarded as the "OG of influencers" by SI Swim, and she is frequently sought out for home advice. On her website, Martha.com, in addition to her Amazon bookstore, she lists a variety of things related to the home, cooking, dining, fashion, and lifestyle.
Stewart is a proud grandmother and mother as well.

The 81-year-old writer was interviewed for the magazine and spoke about her accomplishment, saying that she hoped the cover will serve as an encouragement to other women. Typically, money is what drives me. She explained her newfound determination: "I wanted to prove to people that a woman my age could still look good, feel good, and be good."
Stewart said she doesn't give her age "very much" of her mind, but she does recognize the historic nature of her achievement. "I don't think about age very much," she said, "but I thought that this is kind of historic, and I better look really good because I want other women to feel like they could also be on the cover of Sports Illustrated."
In an interview with the TODAY show, Stewart acknowledged that she was "shaking" before the Dominican Republic location of her swimsuit photo session was revealed. She said, "It's strange to go to an island and then change into nine different bathing suits in front of all those people, but it turned out okay.
The television personality admitted that participating in the photo shoot was "challenging," but she ultimately had "fun" doing it. "For me, it's a testament to good living, and I think that all of us should think about good, successful living and not aging."

The editor-in-chief of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, MJ Day, noted how the publication still "showcases the women of today, the women shaping the future" despite the "industry wavering on its arbitrary notion of beauty" in a statement given to Yahoo! Life.
